Synopsis
In New York’s Chinatown, Lao Xu works in a jewelry shop while his daughter prepares for a flute audition. When he encounters an amethyst said to bring good fortune, his determination to help her draws him toward a desperate choice. A story of a father’s hopes for his child and the fragile promise of a better life.
