About me
Louise Zhang is a Chinese born, and New York based filmmaker. Born and raised in Shanghai, Louise moved to New Hampshire at the age of 15, where she discovered her love for literature, language and storytelling.
Her films cross many genres, combining an eastern sensibility with western storytelling, evoking universal emotions through specific narratives. Louise recently received her MFA degree from NYU Tisch School of the Arts.
